We kicked off our Ultimate Coffee + Conversation tour and Hatched Collective‘s one year anniversary, right here in sunny San Diego, CA at the Hatched Collective Studio!

Our community of ladies FILLED the studio and we are so grateful for the incredible turn out. We began the event inside, where the ladies were able to peruse through set-ups by some awesome vendors.

The ladies began by getting the cutest (and we mean the CUTEST!) pink iced latte’s & iced coffee’s from Claudia from S3 Coffee Bar. Claudia even had edible gold flakes & rose petals that garnished the top. Talk about a top notch drink!

Wee Gather‘s balloon installation made the studio come ALIVE! We are so grateful for their help in designing and installing this balloon piece (and getting the perfect balloon colors to match our branding!)

Once we were caffeinated and drooling over the cuteness of the pink latte, the ladies got to check out Teresa Howe’s pop-up from Clean and Colorful Kitchen. Think stuffed red peppers, edamame salad, and other deliciousness that is made from scratch and with clean ingredients. We were so grateful to be able to have Teresa provide our ladies with clean & organic lunch to fuel them for the conversation!

Before we headed outside, everyone was able to check out Native Poppy‘s flower stand, a DIY station from Rais Case, and a line of intimate wellness products from Ritual Antidotes.

Now is the moment everyone was eager for … the CONVERSATION!

Cristina from CC Vintage Rentals designed our back parking lot full of her unique and gorgeous furniture.

When the conversation began, we got a chance to listen in on the entrepreneurial stories and journeys of Katie Saffert of Hatched Collective, Natalie Gil of Native Poppy, Leah Kirpalani from Shop/Good, Morgan Spenla of The Crafters Box, Julie Ellis of Rais Case, Erin Dollar of Cotton & Flax, and Elise Cripe of Get To Work Book.

Each of our panelists talked through how they stepped onto their path of entrepreneurship, with all the good & the bad as well as what it took for them to make that first step. You can tune in to our panelists stories individually, on the Coffee + Conversation Podcast.

Once our panelists stories were shared, we broke out into mini Coffee + Conversation sessions where each panelist directed their own conversation with a group of our guests.

It is Katie Saffert’s mission to make sure every lady who is a part of our community feels seen & heard. It was her priority to make sure that in these break out sessions, everyone who participated was able to share their story and connect with each other on a deeper level.

Our goal is to inspire women to step into their power & become leaders in their own community. We hope everyone who attended was able to walk away with some inspiration in their pocket and a community to hold hands with as they step into their power.

Thank you to all of our panelists and sponsors who made this event possible:

And a very VERY special thank you to our wonderful photographer, Brandi Schutt from Thoughts By B, who captured our first Ultimate Coffee + Conversation so beautifully.
